Hi……..great innovation…!!! such a nascent idea…one thing i wanted to know…is the mentorship pgm only fr those selected in cat-08 or even for any aspirant?…
January 15th, 2009 at 2:02 am
@Vikram: Well, IIM C has a 75% weightage for CAT scores as per 2008 admission criteria. For more details you can look up the criteria as given on the IIM Calcutta website http://www.iimcal.ac.in
@ adit: The Mentorship program is meant for IIM C GDPI call getters for PGDM/PGDCM only.

PGDM calls have been decided totally through CAT percentile cutoffs while PGDCM calls were given out on a combined basis of 10th/12th marks, workex and car percentile.
January 15th, 2009 at 11:31 am
hello……..
does the sectional percentiles also carry weights???
January 15th, 2009 at 7:50 pm
one more thing……. when u say 75% weightage to cat percentile…. u mean the final selectionorselection for GD and PI??
January 20th, 2009 at 6:14 am
The breakup for admissions is for the final stage. I cannot tell you for sure but I think for giving out calls, the marks for the other criteria (minus GD, PI) are normalized.
Cutoffs are applied on sectional percentiles. And that is why we see people with high overall percentiles lose out due to lower marks in one section.
